ESG Report

Our commitment to sustainability is built into our purpose and vision. We strive to bring it to life in how we operate and how we serve our clients. In our 2022 ESG report, we outline our efforts to date, in line with the United Nations Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. Part of our progress includes the recent launch of the GHD Sustainability Way, which provides guidance for operationalising the GHD purpose, vision and values to advance sustainability and respect for human rights as part of a sustainable business.

Our goal to create a culture of belonging and trust where all our people can thrive is possible by changing historic behaviours, stereotypes, and ideas. Our new Enterprise I&D strategy focuses on five key behaviours we can all practice to support a community of belonging.

The GHD Foundation is committed to advancing equitable access to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education and careers for underrepresented people and communities around the world

We have extended our global sustainability and ESG offerings to support clients in their efforts to reduce carbon emissions –increasing our clients’ capabilities to provide clean and reliable energy, minimising their environmental footprint and supporting environmental protection.

The future of electric mine haul trucks is one step closer to reality with global mining giants and manufacturers collaborating on interoperability standards to decarbonise haul truck fleets

Supporting Indigenous voice and communities

Throughout 2021-2022, we have continued to shape projects supporting communities across Australia and Canada, ensuring decisions are informed by Traditional Custodians and cultural advisors.
