At GHD, we strive to be an inclusive workplace where everyone feels they belong.

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are an essential part of this, and their growing momentum is helping to propel our inclusion and diversity journey to create a deeper and more tangible sense of belonging.

Driven by our people’s passion for greater connection and representation, ERGs are building active and inclusive communities of change, resulting in a connected network of mentors, champions and allies across GHD globally.

Promoting forums for inclusion and diversity across our business

Today our people can contribute to over 20 groups that design and deliver programs to foster greater inclusion in the workplace, with our clients, and in the communities that we operate in. The programs bring together two powerful forces: passionate grassroots backing and senior leadership support, working together for greater inclusion.

Our employee communities include (but are not limited to) areas such as diverse abilities/disabilities, ethnicity, gender, education and work experience, sexual orientation and technical excellence.

The activities that our ERGs cultivate are varied and diverse. They include education campaigns, physical and virtual events that celebrate diversity, and active encouragement of a workplace environment where real and honest conversations are welcomed. Globally recognised events such as Pride and International Women’s Day have also provided opportunities to raise issues such as pay equity, leadership profiles and parental leave.
