The GHD Digital team designed and facilitated Smart Seeds Open, a citizen-driven innovation program bringing together over 60 emerging entrepreneurs to co-create solutions to complex local challenges in Wangaratta, Benalla, Beechworth and Mansfield. Additional support was provided to local startups and businesses to develop, test and scale their ideas.
The GHD Digital team also supported the design and establishment of a place-based digital hub in Wangaratta, funded by a AUD$300,000 regional partnership grant from Regional Development Victoria, via the Ovens Murray Regional Partnership. The support included facilitated sessions to articulate the value proposition, engage stakeholders and develop a preferred business model.
Each of these initiatives were underpinned and created using design thinking principles and methodologies, bringing international experience, and local context and relevance.
